Grief Matters 4 All CIC aims to offer a variety services and resources. The core of these initiatives are to provide safe spaces (both in-person and online) where people can share their experiences, feel heard, and find solace in a community of individuals dealing with similar losses.
Grief and loss remain a taboo subject in many parts of society and everyday life. We want to gently peel away these barriers so people understand that loss takes many forms. We want people to be free to talk about their losses without judgement and pressure, allowing them to heal.
Education is a huge part of that. We engage in raising awareness, having difficult conversations and training where appropriate.
Services for Individuals
- Retreats
- Support Groups
- One to One Support
- Workshops
Our grief support for individuals will offer support and empathy in navigating the complexities of your grief. These services provide supportive strategies and a compassionate community, essential for healing and well-being. All of these will be heavily subsidised or free of charge.
Services for Professionals: Schools and Workplaces
Grief education and support services in schools and organisations are essential as they foster a culture of understanding and empathy. They equip individuals with the tools to support their peers facing loss and create a supportive environment for open dialogue about grief. These tools can also help people to return back to work after a loss, by helping normalise conversations around loss and bereavement.
In schools, this education can guide young people through difficult times, while in workplaces, it ensures that employees receive the understanding and accommodations they need during their grieving process. These initiatives ultimately build stronger and more compassionate communities.

‘Grief Informed’ Line Manager Training
Our tailored training programs equip your line managers with the skills, sensitivity and cultural understanding to support grieving employees. We provide them with the tools to identify signs of grief, foster open dialogue, hold a safe space and create an understanding environment that encourages healing beyond immediate bereavement leave.

Grief Ambassador Training
Go beyond the tick box element of wellbeing and empower select members of your team to become ‘Grief Ambassadors’. Trained in the nuances of grief and loss, these ambassadors will become your in-house experts, providing peer-level support and promoting a culture of empathy within your workforce.

Workshops
Our interactive workshops offer insights into grief, its manifestations and coping mechanisms. Participants will learn how to navigate through their own grief journey and how to support their colleagues effectively, fostering a supportive workplace culture.

Grief Coaching and Mentoring
Personalised one-on-one grief coaching sessions provide individual contributors and leaders with the guidance and support they need to process their grief. Our mentoring programme helps them get back on track professionally while dealing with their personal loss.
